Dr. Nieves is an expert in CAD model design and 3D printing additive manufacturing. He also brings in the knowledge and experience obtained from managing laboratories at academic institutions and appraising the manufacturing processes at pharmaceutical facilities. His prior research focused on theoretical studies of phase transitions in solids. He believes in making safe, affordable medical solutions available to all patients across the world. Dr. Nieves received his BS in chemical engineering from Johns Hopkins University and his PhD in chemical and biomolecular engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to joining our team, he worked at Virginia Commonwealth University as lead designer in a collaborative project with Tympanogen and Eastern Virginia Medical School.
